The ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre, Medziphema conducted “Demonstration on Mushroom Cultivation -Cum- Input Distribution” at Maova village, Chumukedima district, Nagaland with 30 participants and 3 organizers on February 11, 2025. The programme was sponsored by AICRP on Mushroom. Dr. Mathew S. Baite, Principal Investigator of the AICRP on Mushrooms, delivered a brief presentation on Mushroom Cultivation. A practical on Mushroom Cultivation using paddy straw was demonstrated after which the participants themselves performed straw boiling, cooling and drying, spawning and bagging. Inputs like Sprayers, PP bags, Spawns and Ready-to- Grow bags were distributed to all 30 participants. The programme concluded with a photography session and refreshments.
