An awareness programme on the balanced use of fertilizers was conducted under the Khet Bachao Abhiyaan at Sohkhwai village, Ri Bhoi district, by Team 4 on 30th June, 2026. The programme was organized as part of the nationwide awareness campaign on the adoption of balanced use of fertilizers launched by ICAR.
        A total of 60 farmers from Kpepsyiem, Umdu and Umdenlang villages of Ri Bhoi participated in the programme and derived benefit from the deliberations. Vegetable seeds viz., Pea and Cabbage and resource materials pertaining to the balanced use of bio-fertilizers under organic cultivation system were distributed among the participating farmers.
