ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dorbar of Nongspung -A Village, Ri Bhoi District, Meghalaya on 11th November, 2025 to develop a poultry cluster village. The MoU was signed between Dr S. Hazarika, Director of the institute and Mr George A Marak, Headman, Nongspung-A village. The ceremony was attended by Dr Sandeep Ghatak, Head, DAFS, Dr Pankaj Baiswar, Head, DCS and In-Charge, PME, Dr Sourabh Deori, Senior Scientist, Dr G. Khargharia, CTO and representatives of Nongspung-A village.
