A Training Programme on “Balanced Use of Fertilizers” was conducted under the Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG) initiative at Sibe village on 13 May 2026 by Team 9 of ICAR, Arunachal Pradesh Centre, Basar. The programme was organized as part of the nationwide awareness campaign launched by ICAR to promote the adoption of balanced use of fertilizers among farmers for sustainable agricultural production. During the programme, farmers were made aware of the importance of judicious and balanced application of fertilizers to improve soil health and crop productivity. A total of 16 farmers participated in the training programme and benefited from the technical guidance provided by the resource persons. Inputs such as kharif vegetable seeds and millet seeds were also distributed to the participating farmers during the programme.
